In all honesty, I downloaded this story because it was free. I didn't particularly like the cover, but I could not judge it on that. There were no reviews either, therefore I had to read it myself.There's a little something in here for everyone. Love, friendship, secrets, gossip, cat fights, crazy animals, family, and a secret gift. Elena is like most girls, her parents are going through a bitter divorce which is making her question if love is real. She moves in with her Nana and insists on getting a job. And from there it is history. Her gift, as the title implies, is to heal people. This gift comes with its own curse- the pain is taken from one person and brought into Elena's body. Each act is one of complete selflessness.
You will laugh, you'll root for Elena, you'll become completely frustrated by stubborn teenagers/young adults only to be completely humbled in the end. I would recommend to any of my book loving friends.
